The One Minutes Jr.

Since 2002, The One Minutes Jr. has brought together young people from around the world for video workshops to give them a voice. The results are short autobiographical films that provide a poignant glimpse into their lives. How is life for a young refugee in the Netherlands? How do Korean girls deal with the constant pressure to be elegant and feminine? What is the influence of war on daily life in Syria? Their creations are full of astonishing resilience and youthful creativity.

The One Minutes

Using the forces of video, The One Minutes wants to contribute to creating spaces for free expression, collective imagination, and global solidarity in our different, yet deeply interconnected realities.

Every two months, The One Minutes releases a new series of one-minute films exploring our current time in moving images. Museums and cultural organisations around the world subscribe to the series. Send in your videos and participate in the project.
